Stay Engaged with ARPA-H

Our partners at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) have launched a series of programs in recent weeks. They include:

  • Rare disease AI/ML for Precision Integrated Diagnostics (RAPID) program. RAPID intends to transform the rare disease diagnostic odyssey through the development and real-world validation of AI-enabled diagnostic support systems, helping patients reach an accurate diagnosis in a fraction of the time it takes today.
  • PROactive Solutions for Prolonging Resilience, or PROSPR, program. The big question that drives the program is,“What if we had therapies to extend healthspan and prevent the onset of age-related diseases?”
  • Advancing Clinical Trial Readiness (ACTR) initiative. ACTR aims to revolutionize clinical trials by creating a nationwide, decentralized infrastructure that would enable 90% of eligible Americans to participate in clinical trials within 30 minutes of their home.
  • ImagiNg Data EXchange (INDEX) program. INDEX intends to develop an exchange platform to connect medical imaging data providers, users, and services to create robust and trustworthy artificial intelligence (AI) tools for radiology, pathology, and surgical imaging.

Massachusetts is home to ARPA-H’s Investor Catalyst Hub. Massachusetts-based organizations can join the Hub’s nationwide network of spokes collectively working to speed the commercialization of groundbreaking health solutions.
