Rentschler Biopharma SE announced that the company’s new state-of-the-art production line in Milford, MA is now fully operational. Rentschler Biopharma is a leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) for biopharmaceuticals, including advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs). The new production line is Rentschler Biopharma’s largest investment since inception.
Rentschler Biopharma acquired the Milford site in 2019. Since then, they have transformed the facility into a multi-product manufacturing site, expanding it from 93,000 square feet to 138,000 square feet in total. The company is a two-time awardee of the MLSC’s Tax Incentive program, receiving more than $1.7 million toward the creation of 115 jobs.
