Clark University Professor Don Spratt received $750,000 in grants to add six machines to his biotechnology lab, enabling his research team to expand their capacity to perform experiments. Clark held a ribbon cutting Wednesday to showcase the new technology. Pratt said the technology will give students an advantage when applying to jobs after college.
This grant comes from the Massachusetts Life Science Center’s Workforce Development Capitial Grant program which seeks to further the development and expansion of life sciences education and training programs offered by post-secondary academic institutions and non-profit organizations through capital investment in industry-aligned certificate and degree programs.
