NECN Business Interviews Center’s VP for Communications and Marketing on September 12, 2014

Big-name life science companies continue to filter into the state of Massachusetts.

Mass. Life Sciences Vice President Angus McQuilken joined NECN to discuss the latest companies making news in the state.
The organization GE Healthcare Life Sciences is the focus of September’s report. They recently decided to set up shop in Marlborough.

“This is great news for the Massachusetts economy,” said McQuilken.

GE Healthcare Life Sciences will be building a $21M facility and it will house over 500 employees. 220 of those will be new hires.

McQuilken said they company decided to move from New Jersey to the Commonwealth because of the vibrant life sciences environment.
