Dr. Susan Windham-Bannister, president and CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, talked about the national award that the center received on Monday as the nation’s best technology-based economic development initiative focused on “strengthening existing industries.”
Thursday was the grand opening of Sanofi’s new facility, an ecology research center, on Memorial Drive in Cambridge. They also announced a $1 million grant for stem education at UMass Boston.
