Please join the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) & Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives (MBI) to celebrate the ribbon cutting of MBI’s new StartUp & ScaleUp Centers at 17 Briden Street, Worcester, MA.
The StartUp & ScaleUp Centers provide private, secured laboratories for early-stage companies ranging from 100 – 3,000 SF. The facility soft-opened on June 15th and is already home to 17 companies and over 40 employees. The project was a partnership with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and funded with a $3.5 million MLSC Capital Grant.
The gathering will also serve as an opportunity for an exciting update relative to the MLSC’s Seed Fund program. The Seed Fund’s mission is to advance innovative and promising life science companies in targeted geographies throughout the Commonwealth by working with partners to leverage resources and promote economic development.
MBI, the longest-running life sciences incubator in the Commonwealth, is currently home to over 50 companies and has graduated almost 100 companies, which employ over 800 in the local life sciences cluster.
