This event will bring together the leadership of innovation centers around the Greater Boston area to discuss how innovation is a skill that can—and must—be taught to students today. Center representatives will describe how they are leveraging curriculums and partnerships to create the next generation of innovators in Boston and how the Shields Center for Innovation can begin applying those lessons at the middle and high school levels.
The event will be moderated by Jane Swift, former Massachusetts Governor and President and Executive Director of LearnLaunch. Panelists include Jere Doyle, Popolo Family Executive Director, Edmund H. Shea, Jr. Center for Entrepreneurship, Boston College Carroll School of Management, Raj Echambadi, Ph.D., Dunton Family Dean, D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, Matt Segneri, Bruce and Bridgitt Evans Executive Director, Harvard Innovation Labs and Stephen Spinelli Jr., Ph.D., President, Babson College.
