The Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) was proud to be a partner of the 2025 MedExec Women’s Conference. The annual conference brings together high-level female leaders in MedTech to explore industry trends, enhance executive leadership capabilities, and cultivate powerful professional relationships.
The event featured a variety of inspiring panels led by women leaders across the industry, as well as engaging networking opportunities and an exciting pitch competition. MLSC President and CEO Kirk Taylor, MD, served as moderator for the pitch event, which showcased four innovative life science companies. Among the pitch presenters was Nanopath, a previous awardee of the MLSC’s MassNextGen Initiative that aims to equitably improve the lives of patients, starting with women, by providing actionable molecular information within a single office visit.
The MassNextGen Initiative is designed to support underrepresented entrepreneurs by providing them with a year-long customized package of support, which includes non-dilutive grant funding and access to a network of seasoned professionals from the life sciences ecosystem helping them to refine their business strategies and effectively raise capital.
Applications for the MassNextGen Iniative are currently open until June 13, 2025 at 1 p.m. EST. Click here to learn more.
