Holyoke Community College awarded $300,000 for Center for Life Sciences

HOLYOKE – Holyoke Community College has been awarded a $300,000 grant from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center to purchase biotechnology laboratory equipment and supplies for the college’s future Center for Life Sciences.

This grant will supplement a $3.8 million grant the college received in 2013 from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center for renovations to the Marieb Building that will create the Center for Life Sciences. The center is expected to open in the Fall of 2016 at a total cost of approximately $10 million.
