This month, MLSC President and CEO Kirk Taylor and the Center team had the privilege of visiting Alnylam Pharmaceutical’s Norton, MA manufacturing facility. The MLSC team learned more about the company’s innovative work in RNAi Therapeutics and explored opportunities for further collaboration on workforce development and public-private partnerships.
Through the MLSC’s Tax Incentive program, Alnylam has received more than $12 million in awards toward the creation of 800-plus jobs. The company is one of many in Massachusetts who have chosen to co-locate their R&D and their manufacturing operations to leverage their investments in each and benefit from the incredible ecosystem of talent here in the Commonwealth.
