Mansfield Bio-Incubator is pleased to host The National Cancer Institute’s Small Business Innovation Research (NCI SBIR) Development Center. The center provides funding, networking, and mentoring assistance to small businesses with innovative cancer technology projects. On February 24 2021, NCI SBIR Program staff, Xing-Jian Lou and Nancy Kamei, will be presenting funding opportunities and other commercialization resources for small businesses in biotech, pharma, medical devices, and other life science and healthcare areas. During the presentation, the topics covered will include:
• New and existing funding opportunities
• Investor and training programs such as the I-Corps at NIH entrepreneurship program
• Application tips and suggestions
Following the presentation, companies will have a chance to meet one-on-one with Xing-Jian Lou and Nancy Kamei to discuss their cancer technology project and funding eligibility. If you would like to be considered for a one-on-one meeting, please contact Alex Margulis by February 23 at alex.margulis@bioinc.org with a one-page summary of your company and technology.
