How do you think we should handle the power of genome editing? Would you use gene editing therapy for yourself? For your child? For everyone in society? Why, or why not?
How do you think we should handle the power of genome editing? Would you use gene editing therapy for yourself? For your child? For everyone in society? Why, or why not? This is a conversation everyone should join. In this 2-hour forum at the Museum of Science, experts in science, ethics, and health will give short presentations about genome editing. Then, audience members will form small groups to grapple with three different scenarios. A facilitator will guide the discussion so that everyone has a chance to be heard. Light refreshments will be provided. Free parking is available in the Museum garage, with validation at the event. The event is free, but registration is required.
